The HTS Passive Harmonic Filter

This is a broad band hybrid filter.The HTS not only limits current distortion to less than 8% it also corrects power factor to 0.999

The HTS passive filter provides a cost effective solution allowing the user to meet IEEE - 519 requirements.

  • Our HTS filters considerably reduce harmonic current to (THID 8% at any load conditions) and therefore basicallly convert a non-linear load into a linear load this fact eliminates the risk of problems due to non-linear load. Lower Harmonic currents help to relieve the entire electrical installation from excessive loading and heating, allow more consumers to be powerd by th same (existing) installation and help to postpone expensive electrical system up-gradation when retrofiting additional non-linear consumers.
  • KVA Demand gets reduced so distribution transformer utilization is improved
  • Last but not the least, lower harmonic current cause less harmonic voltage when flowing through system independance so other sensitive consumes (e.g. electro medical devices) connected to the same branch of the electrical system are not compromisd in their functionality.
